Only a phone number that you own can be verified.
The phone number you’re trying to verify must be able to accept phone calls and SMS.
Any call-blocking settings, programs, or task killers must be turned off.
You must be able to connect to the Internet via mobile data or Wi-Fi. Verification may not function if you’re roaming or have a weak connection. To see if you’re connected to the Internet, launch the Internet browser on your phone.
How to Confirm
Please enter your phone number here:
From the drop-down menu, select your nation. This will fill up your country code on the left automatically.
In the box on the right, type your phone number. There should be no 0 before your phone number.
To get a code, tap Next.
Enter the 6-digit code that was sent to you via SMS.
If you did not receive the 6-digit number by SMS, please contact us.
Retry when the progress bar has finished. It’s possible that you’ll have to wait up to ten minutes.
You will be locked out for a period of time if you guess the code.
If the countdown expires before you receive the code, you will be given the option to request a phone call. To request a call, select the Call me option. An automated voice should inform you the 6-digit code when you pick up the phone. That’s what you’ll need to validate WhatsApp.
Note that SMS and phone calls may incur charges depending on your carrier.
Steps to troubleshoot
If you’re experiencing trouble verifying, try these steps:
Restart your device. (Reboot your phone by turning it off, waiting 30 seconds, and then turning it back on.)
WhatsApp’s most recent version.
To test your reception, send a test SMS message from any phone to your own phone number, including the country code, just as you entered it in WhatsApp.
Due to security concerns, we are unable to provide your code via any other manner.
